H.N.A.S. - Im Schatten der Möhre

I've become obsessed with this album ever since a friend played it on vinyl for me about a month ago. A delightful compote of experimental German wonkyness, H.N.A.S. take us on a trans-dimensional journey via tape looping, spoken word, found sounds, and experimental instrumentation. It's tough to find stuff this bizarre that doesn't degenerate into moronic and cumbersome meandering. The icing on the cake is the artwork, which is equally as surreal as the music.

ROOTY TOOTY DOO

I've spent the last thirty minutes of my life typing "people who look gross while smoking", "lung cancer horror stories", "nasty smoker phlegm", "dying from tobacco", "suffering smokers", etc. into  my Google search bar. The results... less than thrilling. I want some bloody lung gore, not pictures of non-smokers holding hands/cherishing their health/fondling one another. I am quickly abandoning my Gobstopper replacement strategy, in search of new distractions. I need some Malaysian smoking warnings pasted to the insides of my eyelids STAT.
